2004 Long Island Ducks Team Card Set Review - 2004 was a magical season for the the Long Island Ducks as the finished with a record of 65-61 and won the Atlantic League Championship defeating the Camden Riversharks. The Ducks didn't have a star studded roster that season but did have some notable former Major League players in the set that included Doug Jennings, Patrick Lennon, Wendell McGee, Bill Pulsipher Kimera Bartee and Cole Liniak. Also in the set were Jason Johnson and Justin Davies who along with Jennings, Lennon, and Baretee were named to the Ducks 10th Anniversary All-Time Team (2009). This set also featured Kevin Baez who would eventually become the Manger of the Ducks in 2011. Bud Harrelson, like always is included in the set...more

Hunton & Padgett on ESPN Deportes - Jon Hunton and Matt Padgett were on ESPN Wednesday night.
2011 Long Island Ducks Team Card Set Review - The 2011 season was an amazing season for the Long Island Ducks. The Ducks finished the season 78-47 winning both the 1st and 2nd Half Championships, and eventually winning the Liberty Division Championship under first year Manager Kevin Baez. Ultimately, the Ducks fell in the finals to the York Revolution.
The 2011 Ducks set was kind of a disappointment not only because of how late it was released but because of the design of the set which was wood grain, and similar to the 1987 Topps set, which was not popular among fans. What was lacking in the design was made up in the photography which was excellent...more
