Hunton has 2 saves in Venzuelan league playoffs!

Jon Hunton is continuing his strong winter for the Caribes de Anzoategui in the Venzuelan winter league.

Hunton has allowed no earned runs in 2 innings pitched with 2 saves this post season.

Check out our interview with him!

The Caribes de Anzoategui are 3-0 in the post season which is a round robin tournament where the top two teams will face off to see who advances to the Caribbean World Series.

Matt Padgett is also a member of the Caribes de Anzoategui but has yet to see action his post season.

I've received a few different emails about Hunton and whether I think he's going to come back to the Ducks next season. Right now Hunton is not the "property" of the Ducks, but rather the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. After the season was over Hunton was sent back to Grand Prairie to complete the trade that sent him to the Ducks. I've chatted with Jon a few times and while he enjoyed his time with the Ducks he's exploring all his options including playing in Mexico next season.
